03/17/19 - Red Bird
Went to find wildflowers and ended up playing with a little red bird.
Stopped on the side of the road to get some pics of the lush desert. Saw a bird sitting on another car's rear view mirrors. I hung out a long while trying to get pics of it. The car owners came back and the bird left their car and back to the nearest tree.
The bird flew all around the tree and kept looking at me. Ha! I kept talking to it asking it to move so I could get a flying shot. I eventually moved back into my car, getting ready to leave.
Got in my car and bird tried to sit on my mirrors! So I moved the car closer to it's tree and just waited. I chirped and talked to it. It flew from branch to branch, tilting it's head. the bird even flew to the passenger side of my car and sat on the rear view mirror. So crazy cute!
Got enough attempts and finally left the little bird. So, much fun! I don't know how bird photographers get such good shots! They fly so fast!
